Hockey Stat Tracker, by GEM-Apps

Effective November 2, 2026

The short version

Hockey Stat Tracker has no accounts, no ads and no analytics or tracking. Everything you enter stays on your phone. Information only leaves your phone when you choose to send it: a bug report, a backup, or something you share.

Information stored only on your phone

The app keeps the following in its private storage on your device. It is never sent to GEM-Apps or anyone else by the app.

Information that leaves your phone, only when you choose

Bug reports. When you tap Send on a bug report, the app sends what you typed, the reply email address if you enter one, the app version, the Android version and your phone's make and model. It is sent over an encrypted connection to Web3Forms, a form service that delivers it to GEM-Apps by email. It is used only to fix problems and, if you gave an email, to reply to you.

Team schedules. When you add a schedule link (for example a league's webcal or .ics link), the app downloads that calendar directly from that website, and checks it again every few hours if schedule updates are on. That website receives a normal web request from your phone, as it would from a browser, and handles it under its own privacy policy. GEM-Apps does not receive it.

Backups and sharing. When you back up, or share a stat card or a video, the file goes only where you pick: for example your Downloads folder, Google Drive or a messaging app. That service handles it under its own terms. GEM-Apps does not receive it.

Permissions the app asks for

Photos for players and team logos are chosen with Android's photo picker, so the app only gets the pictures you select.

Children

Hockey Stat Tracker is made for adults: parents, coaches and adult players. A parent may enter information about their child, such as a name, jersey number or photo. That information stays on the parent's phone and is not collected by GEM-Apps. GEM-Apps does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us information through a bug report, contact us and we will delete it.

How information is protected

Information on your phone is kept in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot read. Bug reports and schedule downloads use encrypted connections (HTTPS) where the website supports it.

Keeping and deleting information

Information on your phone stays until you delete it. You can delete players, teams, games and clips in the app, or remove everything by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it. Videos and clips in your gallery are kept until you delete them there.

Bug reports are kept only as long as needed to deal with the problem. To have a bug report you sent deleted, contact us.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
